Find your center in this 50-minute yoga practice designed for all levels.

DEVELOPING A LOVE RELATIONSHIP WITH LIFE

Learn about the difference between resisting and allowing and the consequences of both. Discover why we resist, how to notice when we're resisting, and how to respond to life with love.

PLANT-BASED ORGANIC LUNCH

Enjoy a delicious and nutritious lunch prepared in-house by chef Paul Bunting.

LIVING IN THE PRESENT MOMENT

What does it mean to live in the present moment? Most of us tend to live life stuck in the past or worrying about the future. How do we let go of the grip of the past and embrace the unknown?

GUIDED MEDITATION 

In this guided meditation, you will release the past and embrace an exciting and unknown future.

EXPECTATIONS vs. REALITY

Our realities do not always match our expectations. The result? Suffering. Learn how to stay in your lay and how to respond to life and people when our reality and expectations do not match.

CONNECTING TO OUR HIGHER SELVES

Engage in an inspiring activity where you allow your higher self (source) to speak through you, receiving guidance and clarity like never before.

SOUND HEALING 

Relax to the soothing and healing sounds of bowls, chimes, bells, and vocals while aligning your energy, releasing energetic blockages, and receiving energetic upgrades to support you with your most aligned path.

Depending on the weather, we may spend portions of our day outdoors enjoying the scenery. Please come dressed appropriately for all activities. Along with a delicious lunch, we will be providing an afternoon snack and herbal tea.

Laura is a teacher, healer, artist, intuitive, and mentor. The brains behind the Illuminate Retreat Series, Laura is passionate about creating and inspiring a community of like-minded hearts and offering to them unlimited opportunities for continued healing and growth. She specializes in energy work including Reiki, EFT (tapping), and Sound  Healing, providing her clients with transformative moments of healing,  guidance, and clarity. Laura is currently completing her Doctoral dissertation on teacher wellness.

PAUL BUNTING

Certified Red Seal Chef

Culinary Institute of America, candidate for CNP (Clinical Nutrition Practitioner)

Trained in classical French cuisine, Chef Paul has a gift for making everything taste exquisite. He is a graduate of the world-renowned  Culinary Institute of America, New York, and has cooked alongside many internationally-famed chefs throughout his career. Often the star of the show, Chef Paul delights our guests with a nutritious, plant-based,  organic, and deliciously prepared lunch.

DENISE HUI

Yoga Instructor

Denise is a retired early childhood educator who is full of good, fun energy when she is not practicing her calm in the yoga room. After a  30-day challenge in 2016, she fell in love with the MODO Yoga sequence and community and decided to complete her training. Denise has completed training in MODO Level 1, MODO Calm, Mindful Living, and Reaching In,  Reaching Out, which provides an introduction to making yoga and mindfulness more inclusive and accessible for more people. She is passionate about teaching yoga to help people better help themselves.
